ISO 3506-2 stainless nut designations and property classes are separate from commercial SS grade names. Do not infer nut proof load from “SS 304” or “SS 316”, or copy bolt classes such as 8.8/10.9 onto a nut specification. Carbon/alloy steel requests need their own specified nut grade and mechanical requirements. Rivet-nut performance is manufacturer- and installation-specific; do not assume ISO 3506-2 certification.

Blind rivet nuts are selected by the manufacturer drawing and installation data. Do not apply DIN 934 hex-nut dimensions or assume a universal grip range.
Check before ordering: Grip range, sheet thickness, hole size/profile, body shape, head style, open/closed end and setting tool.
