ISO 3506-2 stainless nut designations and property classes are separate from commercial SS grade names. Do not infer nut proof load from “SS 304” or “SS 316”, or copy bolt classes such as 8.8/10.9 onto a nut specification. Carbon/alloy steel requests need their own specified nut grade and mechanical requirements.

DIN 6923 is a withdrawn legacy reference. ISO 4161 covers coarse-thread hexagon flange nuts (style 2). Confirm the exact standard, height and plain or serrated bearing face; do not assume automatic equivalence.
