ISO 3506-2 stainless nut designations and property classes are separate from commercial SS grade names. Do not infer nut proof load from “SS 304” or “SS 316”, or copy bolt classes such as 8.8/10.9 onto a nut specification. Carbon/alloy steel requests need their own specified nut grade and mechanical requirements.

DIN 934 is a common commercial reference; ISO 4032 covers regular hexagon nuts (style 1). Confirm the required edition and dimensional series rather than assuming the two are interchangeable.
